Photographer’s Log
Belfountain Conservation Area
I visited Belfountain with my family last weekend. It was a dual purpose trip. It was a chance to get out with the family before the summer ended while I took some time to scout the area as I heard it is a nice place for photography. Indeed it has several very nice features that could make it an ideal place for a photo session. Unfortunately, some of the main area at Belfountain is currently under construction. However with a little creativity one could still get some great shots without ever giving any hints of the construction taking place. I’m looking forward to revisiting once construction has been completed. Below are some of the shots I took.
Blue Mountain After The Storm In February 2013
My wife got this crazy idea that we should go to Blue Mountain for diner. It is about a 2 hour drive from our home and it was Saturday, February 9th the day after we had the snow storm which buried Ontario with about 2 feet of snow. Maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea after all. Lucky for us the roads were perfectly cleared … special thanks to our fearless snow plow drivers.
